For most launch, update, or performance problems, begin with the checks below. Try the game again after each step so you know what changed.
- Restart ZOA Protocol, Steam, and then Windows.
- Install pending Windows updates and the current driver for your graphics hardware.
- In Steam, open ZOA Protocol’s Properties, choose Installed Files, and verify the integrity of the game files.
- Temporarily close overlays or background utilities that hook into games, then retry.
- Confirm that security software has not quarantined or blocked the game.
Contact player support
If the issue continues, email support@zoaprotocol.com. We read every report, although investigation time depends on the issue and the information available.
Please remove personal information that is not needed to diagnose the problem.
- A short description of what happened and what you expected instead.
- The steps that reproduce the problem, if known.
- Your Windows version, major hardware details, and game version.
- Relevant screenshots or the exact wording of an error message.
- Whether the issue happens every time and what you have already tried.
Steam purchases and refunds
ZOA Protocol is distributed for Windows through Steam. Valve administers Steam purchases, receipts, payment methods, and refund requests. ZOA LLC cannot view your full payment credentials or override a Steam refund decision.
Use Steam Support for a purchase or refund issue. Do not email card details, wallet codes, or proof-of-purchase documents containing unnecessary personal information.
Website Steam sign-in
Where the website offers Steam profile features, selecting sign in sends you to Steam OpenID. Steam handles your credentials; this website does not ask for or receive your Steam password.
After Steam confirms the sign-in, the shared ZOA web gateway uses an HttpOnly authenticated session cookie. If sign-in loops or fails, allow essential cookies for this site, sign out, close the tab, and try again. Private browsing or aggressive tracking protection may prevent the session from being retained.
Bug, conduct, and security reports
Send reproducible bugs, suspected cheating, player-safety concerns, or a possible security issue to support@zoaprotocol.com with a descriptive subject line. Preserve original evidence where it is safe to do so, but do not put yourself or another person at risk to collect it.
Discord and other community channels are useful for discussion, but an email to support is the dependable route for a private or account-related report. External communities operate under their own rules and privacy practices.
Accessibility help
If the website creates an access barrier, or if you need confirmed information about a game option before purchasing, tell us what you are trying to do and which assistive technology or setup you use. We will provide information or a reasonable alternative where we can.
